HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL =)

So I'm finally ACTUALLY in year 12, and its finally the year of the long awaited HSC```
I think I will officially close this blog at the end of this year, so it contains just our high school memories.

I promised myself that when school starts this term I will stop taking those drugs that turn me into a crazy-insane-lunatic fangirl. So to amanda, ellen, lisa, jenny ding, and rachel - my main drug suppliers. Our suju+dbsk drug dealings must stop!!!! I won't be addicted any longer!! HA!!

As for promising myself I will work harder than ever... well I'm still trying to work on my first promise.

These holidays = total waste.
I had a feeling at the beginning of the holidays that Ii would stay home 95% of the time studying and being completely antisocial. BUt as it turns out, its been the exact opposite. 95% of the time was spent chatting on msn, watching various dramas, youtubing, talking on the phone, eating, sleeping, going out and socialising.
4% probably staring blankly out the window;
while 1% - actually "studying".

pffttt and now I'm really starting to think upgrading my internet to adsl2+ with a 54GB download limit might end up being a huge mistake...

I hope I don't regret dropping extension english!! >< School is so unexciting now. We hardly ever see each other anymore!!! (The people that do JAP!) =(  I NEVER see Amanda, Ellen, Wendy or Jolene. (and I ALWAYS see Sarah...-_-).  Everyone is so studious this year that we've all become so boring...>>". man...WE HAVE A LOT OF CATCHING UP TO DO AFTER HSC!! XD 

Anyway, I'm off to spend the next 5 hours of my life doing maths, and the next 3 hours after that doing english. And hopefully the next 5 hours sleeping.

Food was really good too! Especially the wedges....sour cream and sweet chilli is <3

Spent so much money. =(

BUT HEY ~ at least I blogged! 

So yes. Sunday morning I had church. And it was really fun, like usual. And it was even better than usual because shortguy with tie was there. *drools*

After church me, sarah, Haeran, EN.G (ok I can't spell the name), Suha, Paul and Co. went to Gloria Jeans - where we just talked for another hour or so. By 2:30, I left with AManda and went to her house, coz she was taking me to camp =). 

anyways yes. We waited for Jenny Trinh to arrive, and then we made our way to Collaroy at around 4pm - by 5pm, the sky was so dark and rainy, and it looked so cold. We ended up getting there at 5:15ish?

We thought we were pretty early, but it turned out that 2/3 of our grade were already there. XD

Yes it was a LONG wait for the camp to OFFICIALLY start, and by 6, Mrs cooke came into the room and talked about all this security crap the whole "you have to sleep in the room you said you'd sleep in" and "enjoy yourselves" talk.

When you hear the name 'Collaroy Salvation Army convention centre', you immediately think 'Bathurst styled cabins' right? BUt the place was actually REALLY nice! This was the balcony that extends from the seminar rooms. And if you walk all the way around, there's the dining hall - which has a REALLY good view of the ocean. If it was daytime, you'd be able to see the ocean from here. ^_^

Abit rainy and cloudy, but pretty nonetheless.

So we went to our cabins, and chose our beds. Put our stuff in the shelves and had showers. And an hour or so later, we had to go down to the dining rooms again for dinner.

Our cabins were located at the bottom of this mountain-ish place, while the dining hall and seminar rooms were located at the top-ish. So it was a pretty steep and tiring walk just to walk to and from breakfast /lunch /dinner / the seminar talks.

For dinner the first night, the food was pretty crap. We had a piece of chicken breast with gravy, canned vegetables which were too sweet, and some powdery potatos. It was so hilarious that time, because Mrs Cooke decided to let the NON-vegetarians get their food FIRST. MWAHHHA. So suck to those ppl who turned vegetarian just to be first in line for food.

After dinner, we went back to our cabins, and half an hour later we all came back for the 'adventure challenge' Nina, Ella and co. organised. [we were told to carry our sleeping bags - apparently that was for another game which I think everyone sort of forgot about after the first few minutes - which was to hide in your bags asap as soon as someone called "mrs cooke's coming" - obviously with 150 people in the room, it'll be pretty chaotic and hard to tell if you're really hidden or not"]

The night was SOO FUN! We played heaps of games, one of them being trying to pass an orange from one person to another using our necks. ANd only necks. And it was SOo hilarious to watch despite how disturbing and wrong it looks when you're watching from behind.

You two even missed out on the dance off, where Hannah performed a strip show for the entire grade. Soo funny when she started taking off her jacket then throwing it towards the crowd, followed by her shoes, then her socks, and her hair tie,  and then realising that there was nothing more she could take off without exposing herself. She didn't make it to the finals, even though everyone thought she should've. In the end, Leanna came first, Louisa second and Aime third. VICKY you should've gone!!

The rest of us got kind of split up after playing the whole "when the music stops, you have to get yourself into groups of 5" but again with the 150 people in the room, as IF u can tell whether you're in groups of 1, or 2, or 3, or 5, or 150.  NYEH.

WE had a 'longest minty wrapper rope' competition, which our group definately lost pretty badly, so we ended up donating our rope to Hillary and Hannah's group - so their rope was like.. twice as long and so ended up winning with our help. ^______^

At 9:30ish the fun night was over, and we had Supper, which was GOOD hot chocolate, and a biscuit. ANd i'm serious when I say the hot chocolate was GOOD. And after that we went back to our cabins and played games, took pictures and talked about stuff with a torch in the middle. 

See the PJs JT is wearing??! HER MOTHER MADE THAT FOR HER!!! *so jealous* WHy isn't my mum that talented?

After that, we played a few games of Truth or dare, by using the Twister board to spin. XD

meanwhile, in Hillary, Hannah, Yue, etc cabin...

WEll after that, our little game of 'truth or dare' became just a game of 'truth', which turned into huge long and deep conversations. It was actually really fun, because I don't think we've ever been so open with each other these 5 years.

WEll, the next morning, after getting 4.5 hours of sleep, we had breakfast, which was bacon and eggs, and toast and yoghurt. And after that, we had our first Study Skills seminar. According to some people the advice was pretty helpful, but to me... er... I don't think it'll be that helpful. If you want to study well, first you need commitment. If you can commit youself to studying and making the most out of your time, you don't NEED advice on better studying methods. GAHH... do you get what I mean? Because the better studying methods will only work if you are commited enough to study in the first place.

Those 2 hours went by SOOO slowly I swear. Lunch was really nice - Turkey roll with lettuce, etc, etc. After lunch, we again went back to our cabins - where we took more photos. XD

Yeah, we had a bit too much free time, so we all got bored after a few hours. SOoooo we decided to leave our cabins and go our and explore Collaroy.

For dinner that night, we had this beef stirfry with rice. IT was SOO YUMMY!!! Whoever said the food at Collaroy is crap is stupid, and a LIAR!!

Again, we had another 1 hour break after dinner. Where we went back to our cabins, played more twister with Hannah, and took more pictures. XD

we played this game, which was similar to Chinese Whispers, But you have to pass on a message with Water in your mouth, and in the end everyone has to guess what the message is. It was hilarious to watch, but So had to do especially when everyone is laughing at you. And you know what happens when you want to laugh and you have water in your mouth...

After that we had our 'movie extravaganza' night. Which wasn't so extravagant after all, we ended up watching one movie. -_____________-;; Everyone was so excited to see what the movie was because the teachers wouldn't tell us. All they said was "No, its not the Titanic".

BUt yes. First thing that came up "A caterpillar Wish" menu page. Everyone started turning to one another asking "what the hell is that???!", but noone knew. A few moments later, the beginning credits started coming up, and none of the names looked familiar.

UNTIL it said:

"A South Australian Film".

The whole hall sighed a sigh of disappointment. A FREAKING AUSTRALIAN film?!?!! Last year they got to watch the NOTEBOOK!!! And we get this!!!!
So I watched the first 15 minutes. Slept the next hour or so, very uncomfortably, and woke up in time to watch the last 10 minutes. And amazingly I knew exactly what was going on.

THats how freaking dodgy that movie was. SOME people actually liked it though!! OMG! It was about these two half brothers and sisters having sex even when they KNEW they were siblings, but in the end finding our they weren't related to each other after all. [and the mother of the girl is a prositute, and the father of the guy commited adultery]. It was a typical plot. We finished the movie at around 9:20pm, and people were like "can we watch another one". But Mrs cooke was just like "No. We've got more videos but we're not watching them".

WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAT THE F***?!??! Does she mean to tell us that she had OTHER movies?!??! WHY The hell did we have to watch that one then?!?!?! EUGHHH!! STupid. HEre's some photos anyway. 

By the end of the movie, It was POURING outside. Without an umbrella, I would say, you'd probably get soaked standing outside after 10 seconds. THATS how heavy the rain was. We waited a while, but it just seemed like the rain wasn't going to stop, SO me and Sarah decided to run back in the rain (with the blankets we had over our heads) and get umbrellas for everyone else.

BUT WHO would've thought the rain was soooo heavy that the road we walked down to get to the cabins was literally a 5cm deep river. Remember how I mentioned the hall was at the top of the mountain? While the cabins were at the bottom? Well ALL the rain from the top of the mountain FLOWED down the road LIKE A RIVER alll the way to the bottom, and as soon as we stepped onto the road, our entire foot would be submerged in the 3 degrees rainwater.

For some reason, the rain doesn't look too heavy in any of the pictures. BUT TRUST me it IS.

Once we got back to the cabins, we searched in every1's bags for unbrellas, and changed into thongs. We managed to find 2 umbrellas. -_______-;;

So, We had 4 return trips in the POURING rain, just to get everyone safe and ...er... somewhat dry (apart from their feet) back to the cabins. By the 4th Trip, we were already SOOO wet that with or without umbrellas, it wouldn't even make a difference. XD

I have to say though, I couldn't have asked for a more memorable last camp.

(and these two were WRAPPED in their sleeping bag, WITH an umbrella over their heads!!)

You can't tell from the picture, but our clothes were dripping wet.

So yes. I'm all of us wanted to make it memorable as well. So 5 of us ended up going out into the rain ONCE more with our Cameras. Call us crazy, but it was the best fun we've had on the camp so far!

Its funny that right before camp, Sarah and I made a promise that we'll go running in the rain on the last day. We ended up playing in the rain the night before with JT, Amanda and nuz, not to mention it turned out that on the last day, it was SUNNY! So we continued playing in the rain for about 20 minutes, kicked and splashed water onto each other, took a few videos, and laughed at our stupid we were.

WEll yes, SO after that really wet experience, we went back inside, and changed into something dry and warm. (my feet was FROZEN from being soaked in rain water for so long. ANd THEN we joined cabins with Hillary and Hannah's group, and played Murder in the Dark/Blind Man's BLuff. So there was 16 people in ONE cabin. YET it was STILL so hard to catch someone!!! XD So we continued playing that until 12:10am. And the rest of our group tried to make the most out of our last night, talked until 2:20am, and ended up falling asleep.

The next morning, We had SUCH a good breakfast, hashbrowns, fruit and yoghurt, spagetti and toast, cereal, etc. SOO good. And I mentioned that the view must've been really nice if the weather was better? Well here's the view from The dining hall:

Well, that day our seminar was about DATE rape. 

IT was the best lecture ever. The guy was SO funny. XD, But Seeing that I've been writing this entry for over 2 hours, I'm not going to go into detail. I'll tell you at school. ^____^;; BUT soo hilarious I swear. We even learnt self defence moves from him. HAHhhA.

This was about an hour before we needed to return to school =(

So yes, that was basically it. Lunch was SO yummy once again. I'm telling you Collaroy had the best camp food ever. It was creamy bacon and cheese pasta, nice salad, and garlic bread.

I was so sad, when we got back to school 45 minutes later. =( Esp. knowing that, that was the last high school camp ever. T___T But Happy as well, because this camp was one of the best camps we've ever had - but would've been even better if Olivia and Jolene came. =)

OK. I think I just wrote the longest Entry ever. MY eyes are dying. COMMENT or I'll never blog for you again :P

Yesterday our chinese lession was spent in the DT food tech rooms cooking chinese dishes. Most of you probably think there's no way you can/ever be able to cook. But guess what?!?!? It's not true!!! Our whole chinese class practically learnt how to cook a dish each, in just 3 days!!! So yes, never think you can't cook! Because it's so easy to learn. ^____________^. So everyone made something nice and not too simple. We made up a rule that we can't cook fried rice/dumplings/wontons/noodles/anything stupid and simple.

If only all our chinese lessons were spent learning how to cook. =)

What the hell. Is it just me that didn't get the movie or what. I didn't get what happened in the beginning, middle or end.

What the hell is with the opening scene. What the hell happened after that. Why the hell did Sao Feng make Elizabeth captian?? What the hell is with the freaky lady that blew up and vomitted a few billion crabs out of her mouth. How did Will become captain when Davy Jones already killed him. GAHHH!!!I don't understand!!!

[edit] OMG!! I GET the ending now!! Apparently a scene was cut out from the movie, and it was something like, if the lover stays loyal to the Captian of the Dutchman for 10 years, then he is freed. But the thing with Davy Jone's and Calypso - she didn't stay loyal to him so he was cursed forever and had to look after the dead or sth along those lines. I can't explain. So yes. WILL returns for ever. And not just for a few hours, and then has to sail the seas again for yet another 10 years. [/edit]

It was pretty disappointing though. It was so long, and I had no idea what it was going on about. Definately not as good as first two movies. ANd the movie tickets costed $12.50!!! Such a rip off!!!! 

We saw SOOO many people from our grade today. So hilarious. I wonder how many people from our grade were actually at the Athletics Carnival.

Church was really good!! Can't wait till the BBQ on Saturday!! I'm just glad that I left early yesterday. >_>;; I think I would've gotten killed on the spot if I stayed. O_O 

Well anyway. After exams me + amanda slept over at Ellen's. Took some photos like we always do, and baked some muffins [which were actually REALLY nice when they were hot].

I know its still middle of exams, and I really shouldn't be blogging/checking blogs/msning/going on youtube/perving on jap guys/ watching TV, etc.

BUT I can't help it. Who cares about Bio and Chinese. Or english orals which are only worth only 10%. -____________-;;

1 litre of tears is SUCH a good drama. The first series that i've ever watched where I literally cried from start to finish, and still liked so much. Its so sad but inspirational. (Thanks JT for lending!!!) Everyone go watch it!! And cry for 9 hours straight like me!! XD

And yes. Thanks to 1LOT I have now discovered Ryo Nishikido and Jin Akanishi. 

They sound really good together. O_O Though I have to admit. Ryo's singing is crap compared to Jin's.
